Let’s make Ragi Pizza! Yay ! Healthy And Tasty :-)

Yes, the delicious flavours of this quick and incredibly healthy pizza cooked with the goodness of Ragi and topped with a variety of vegetables and cheese will astound you.

Simply follow our instructions for making this delectable Ragi Pizza, and you’ll master it in less than 30 minutes. The best thing about Ragi pizza is that it has the ideal ratio of nutrients and fibre for a balanced meal, and the combination of vegetables, herbs, and cheese makes it a fantastic snack.

Wheat Flour Base
Ragi Flour Base

Ingredients of Ragi Pizza (3 servings)

2 cup ragi flour
1 tablespoon refined oil
1 cup onions
1 cup Tomatoes(pulp removed)
1 cup Capsicum
100g Paneer
1 cup cheese-cheddar or mozzarella
oregano as required
Tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
black pepper as required

How to make Ragi Pizza

Step 1 Wash and cut veggies

To begin with this delicious Ragi Pizza, wash and cut the veggies and keep them aside.

Step 2 Knead the dough

To make the ragi crust, take a large bowl and 2 cup ragi, ½ cup warm water, salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Knead a smooth dough by gradually adding water. Keep the dough aside to rise.

Step 3 Prepare the base
When the dough is ready, remove tiny balls, flatten them with rolling pin, and then roll the dough from the sides to form basic pizza crust. Heat the tawa and make it like we make chapatis at home.

Tip: when you flip the base from one side then use fork to make hole in pizza ,so that it will remain flattten.

Step 4  Add in the toppings
Apply Pizza + tomato sauce first(you can use only  tomato sauce if pizza sauce not available) then your choice of grated cheese, vegetables, and herbs like oregano, mixed herbs, and chilli flakes. Finally, add salt and pepper to the pizza as desired.

Step 5 Baking Time!

You can bake or make the pizza in a pan, place the pizza and cover with a glass lid to cook. Here, I am using Kadhai in with i have fill water in the base then place a steel plate on which pizza will place. Close the lid .The steam will cook the pizza inside out and you can relish it with your favourite beverage and indulge in the goodness of taste and health.

Step 6 Dig In!
